VITION-CAM is an AI-based technology that identifies airway anatomy and provides real-time decision support during tracheal intubation across patient groups and clinical settings. The aim is to increase first-attempt success rates and reduce complications associated with tracheal intubation, and simplify a technically demanding procedure.

The software is designed as a lightweight, vendor-agnostic add-on compatible with existing video laryngoscopes. It is developed based on the Danish Video Intubation Cohort, a ”video bank” comprising more than 15,000 video laryngoscope recordings of tracheal intubations across all age groups, prehospital and inhospital settings.
